Teacher conferences and seminars

As part of its commitment to education, the Newsroom provides a number of high-quality conferences for teachers on a range of issues each year.

Conferences cover a range of curriculum subjects and past titles have included Creationism, The American Election, Changing Media and Newspapers, Careers in Media, Embedding ICT in the primary and secondary curriculum and Reading for pleasure.

Speakers include journalists, educational advisers and practising teachers who explore innovative ways to inspire young minds. The conferences always provide excellent opportunities for continued professional development.
