LA-based brand Mother, best know for its great quality denim, has teamed up with Saturday Night Live’s Chloe Fineman on a retro-inspired collection. Designed in partnership with her sister, artist Emma Fineman, the 15-piece apparel and accessories collection includes cigarette pants, A-line skirts and classic blue jeans. In the spirit of family, the sisters selected the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Foundation as the charitable partner (10% of net sales) for the capsule, honouring their cousin who is a firefighter and supporting those impacted by California wildfires. Footwear brand Sorel and non-gendered fashion force Aries are unveiling a limited-edition capsule collection that fuses Sorel’s performance-driven design with Aries streetwear aesthetic. The partnership includes a limited-run of zip-through hoodies, as well as a red wind cheater jacket with matching trousers. The centrepiece of the collaboration is a new take on Sorel’s popular Caribou boot. The shoe features a removable zip-off shroud, waterproof Gore-TexTM upper and Vibra-molded outsole for traction.
