Alex Moshakis is acting editor of the Observer Magazine. He has written for the Guardian, GQ, and the New York Times Magazine, and he served as head of editorial at Monocle magazine’s sister agency. For The Observer he has profiled a variety of notable people, including Robert de Niro, Sir Patrick Stewart, Heston Blumenthal, and Richard E. Grant. He was nominated for Broadsheet Interviewer of the Year at the 2024 Press Awards.
