The state of social housing in the UK has reached a crisis point in 2023. But how did we get here? In Liverpool, housing associations and those waiting to be housed are at the frontline of the crisis and have first-hand experience of the decline of social housing in their city and beyond.

Innovations are being made in the broader rental sector to improve the supply of housing.
