Schedule 🕓 4:50pm – Please meet in the Hayward Gallery Foyer, where a member of staff will sign you in. 🖼️ 5:00pm – Curator Tour begins promptly (approx. 30 minutes), followed by time to explore the exhibition at your leisure. 🍸 6:00pm – Regroup in the Hayward Gallery Foyer and head to one of the Southbank Centre’s hospitality venues for a complimentary drink (drinks token provided). 🎤 Just before 7:00pm – Make your way to the Purcell Room, Queen Elizabeth Hall for the panel discussion. 🎟️ Allocated seat tickets will be provided. The panel discussion, moderated by actor and art enthusiast Russell Tovey, brings together The Observer's Tim Adams, writer and novelist Michael Bracewell, and Hayward Gallery Roden Chief Curator Rachel Thomas to explore the provocative themes of societal taboos, identity, and contemporary urban life that define Gilbert & George’s work. Drawing on their diverse backgrounds in journalism, literature, and curation, the speakers will offer insights into how the artists’ vision resonates in the 21st century.
