More than a year after it was released on Netflix, Adolescence has continued its hot streak with another four gongs at the Bafta TV awards. This comprised a win for best limited drama and acting prizes for Stephen Graham, Owen Cooper and Christine Tremarco. Cooper, who was cast in the show as a 14-year-old with no professional experience, now has an Emmy, a Golden Globe and a Bafta. He was the youngest ever winner in his category in all three ceremonies. Adolescence is also the second most viewed Netflix show of all time. A new season, if it comes, will have to do an awful lot to live up to this astonishing success.
