The Observer in brief: 234 years of history in 6 minutes

On 4 December 1791, The Observer published its first newspaper. Our journey continues 234 years later with the launch of our digital edition. Last week we transformed the oldest Sunday newspaper in the UK into a seven-day operation across our website, app, and print, giving readers a little bit of Sunday every day of the week.
