Russia was accused of hitting a nuclear fuel storage facility near Chernobyl on Sunday in the latest sign that Vladimir Putin has no desire to negotiate with Kyiv. Zelensky said that radiation levels were stable after the attack, which followed a wave of Ukrainian drone strikes on St Petersburg during its economic forum. On Friday, Putin used the forum to reject peace talks with Zelensky, who wants the Russia-Ukraine war to end along the current line of contact. Though Russia is struggling militarily and economically, the Kremlin has not dropped its maximalist demand that Ukraine withdraw from four regions that Moscow has declared as Russian.
