Art of an era
Hailing from South Bronx during the birth of hip-hop in the early 1980s artist Torrick Ablack – known professionally as Toxic (a nickname earned on the basketball court) – cut his teeth graffitiing subway trains and city walls during the genre’s formative period in New York, working alongside Jean Michel Basquiat.
