A day festival of lively in-conversation events with your favourite authors, introducing dazzling new talent, and offering a selection of inspiring workshops and 1-2-1-s from writers and industry insiders. As evening falls, listen to exclusive readings of the 12 books shortlisted for the 2026 Women’s Prize for Fiction and Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction.

We’re delighted to announce that Candice Carty-Williams, Thangam Debbonaire, Julia Gillard, Vick Hope, Kiran Millwood Hargrave, Meena Kandasamy, Elle McNicoll, Anita Rani and Kathryn Stockett will be joining us in the gardens for 2026, with details of the full programme to be announced soon.

On the eve of the winners announcement, the 12 authors shortlisted for the 2026 Women’s Prizes will be taking to the stage in conversation with their respective Chair of Judges, Thangam Debbonaire and Julia Gillard. It's a rare opportunity to listen to live readings from the books that dazzled our judges, candid insights from the authors, and an audience Q&A, this is an unmissable event! Plus you will have exclusive access to some never-seen-before footage from behind the scenes at the Women’s Prize, played during the 30 minute interval.
