The Rachel Cooke Graphic Short Story Prize

The Observer, Faber and Comica are proud to announce the relaunch of the annual prize, in honour of the journalist who founded it and championed the graphic novel form. 

A new chapter

Since 2007, The Observer's competition has been uncovering the brightest talents in comics. Now renamed the Rachel Cooke Graphic Short Story Prize, it will announce its next winner in March 2026.
