Police have declared a terror incident after two Jewish men were stabbed in the Golders Green area of north London. The victims are in a stable condition, while a suspect, aged 45, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Police have said one of their lines of inquiry is whether the attack was “deliberately targeting the Jewish community in London”. There have been several incidents of arson this month in the same area. Last October, two people were killed in a terror attack on a Manchester synagogue during Yom Kippur services. There are roughly 300,000 Jews in the UK, with Golders Green known as an epicentre of Jewish life.
